Hi, my name is Cristina Navoa. I am a mom of three busy boys and a kindergarten teacher based in Toronto. I am passionate about my job as a teacher and a content creator. Sometimes my two worlds collide and I see it as a chance to create magic by using my voice to create change! I hope you’ll join me in supporting this cause!

As an elementary school teacher, I have seen first hand, the impact of food insecurity in our communities. Nutritious food is a basic need that our families, especially children, need to thrive. Every year I encounter children going to school hungry, without nutritious snacks or lunches, simply because their families cannot afford or access these options. Given today’s financial climate, I want to support this cause because good food for our children is essential and the reason is simple: our kids deserve the basic necessities and a good start to build their future.

When you support Cristina’s fundraiser, your donation will support the End Hunger Fund by Unite for Change which includes more than 400 registered charities. Your gift will go towards food banks, student breakfast programs, community kitchens and gardens, and much more.
